20 Visions of Paris
The idea was simple yet hard to implement: to ask young European directors to explore Paris with their video cameras and to capture personal visions of the city.
Living all in Europe, these young directors were citizens of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Great-Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, but also Kazakhstan, Peru, or South Korea.
From hunting for a location to editing, they had 5 days, from the 28 of August to the 1 of September 2006 -during the celebration of NISI MASA's 5th anniversary, to create their short documentaries. Compiled their films constitute a unique patchwork, a different perspective of an all too familiar city.
