Time Out

Time Out is a story about the coming of age of a 13 year old boy, Gaurav. Gaurav, curious about his new found attraction towards girls, idolizes his elder brother Kunal who is the captain of the school basketball team. Gaurav dreams of one day being as popular as his brother and looks up to him for advice related to his own life and attractions towards girls. Gaurav is left confused when he finds out that his elder brother is Gay and in a sexual relationship with another boy. This young boy is left to figure out whether it really matters what a person’s sexual preference is and does it change who and what your relationship with them is. The story is based in New Delhi, India and seeks to raise this very question in society, specially in India where homosexuality though legalized is still a big taboo.
